CLASSY CARDOZO RECEIVING HER FIRST PLACE AWARD
Classy Cardozo from Canacona is the winner of this years Goencho Avaz Contest organised by Heraldo.
The Second prize was bagged by Divya Dinesh Naik from Curchorem and the third by a boy from Colva mr. Anselm Fernandes.
Duet Category first place was taken by Loy D'Silva & Siyani Fernandes for their duet of M.Boyer 'Zila ani lila' .
Second place was backed by Peviolla Dias and Jesmond Clemente for their song Ek Chedu and the third place was backed by Dexter Furtado and Sarah Fernandes for singing 'Bizlecho Pavor'
A young girl Deeksha D'Sa was awarded youngest singer prize from Indo- Portuguese Friendship Society.
Cielda Pereira whos was the last years winner also performed to entertain audience with her vivid voice with Nachom-ia Kumpasar. Siddhanth Buyao, Shakuntala Bharne, Anthony San also enthralled the audience with their songs.
Agnelo de Borim compered the show and the music was directed by Norman Cardozo.
