Tiatr Workshop held at Shiroda

Michael Gracias conducted Tiatr Workshop.

A tiatr workshop was conducted at Shiroda under the guidance of Kala Academy Alumni Mr. Michael Gracias. The workshop was conducted for 7 days with all aspects of staging a Tiatr. In all 55 students participated in the workshop.

The inauguration of the workshop was done by the outgoing President of Tiatr Academy of Goa Prince Jacob along with the Parish Priest of Church of Shiroda.

The concluding function was held with the performance of the attended girls and boys of Shiroda. The Chief Guest Mr. William Fernandes who is also the Council member of the Tiatr Academy who presented the certificates to the Participants. The Member Secretary of Tiatr Academy Mr. Alexander  and Mr Jess Luiz Programme Co-ordinator were also present for the occasion.  

The Tiatr Workshop was organised by Cruz from Shiroda who is also the Council Member of the TAG. The workshop was supported by Tiatr Academy of Goa.

COMEDIAN AGOSTINHO - THE NEW CHIEF OF TIATR ACADEMY

Comedian Agostinho has been nominated as the new President of Tiatr Academy of Goa. Along with him there are ten members who have been nominated to the Council. Prince Jacob is the outgoing President who has been at the helm of Tiatr Academy for the last three years along with Joe Rose who was the Vice President. Wishing Agostinho all the best and hope more better days will come at Tiatr Academy.

A. J. de Almeida High School & KBM’s Vidyabhuvan Konkani Shalla bags the 1^st places at TAG’s Inter-school Competition of Dance on Konkani Songs on Patriotism/National Integration/Communal Harmony

In order to inculcate values of patriotism/national integration/communal harmony in our children, every year Tiatr Academy of Goa has been organizing an Inter-school Competition of Dance on the recorded Konkani Songs on Patriotism/National Integration/Communal Harmony. This year the competition was held in collaboration with Institute Menezes Braganza in two categories i.e (1) Std. I - IV (primary) and (2) Std. V - X (secondary) on Tuesday, 18^th August 2014 at the Institute Menezes Braganza auditorium, Panaji.

Milagres de Chandor releases " ZERO"

Milagres de Chandor is releasing his new Tiatr  i.e. on 16th August, 2015 at Kala Academy at 10.a.m
Followed by two more shows the same day at Margao.

Having a major cast we have to hope that the Tiatr will do well at the box office.

First of all one must know What is Tiatr ? Tiatr are mostly written on social & political issues which are prevailing at the time in society. The functioning of the Government is brought to the people through these Tiatrs for over a century now. The politicians are criticized, they are bulldozed for their misdeeds in their political tenure.This is what Tiatrs are for the Goans for the last 125 years.

Lorna Cordeiro the nightingale of Goa is celebrating her birthday today. 

Lorna is the household name. A great singer who have sung the great hits of Chris Perry and won the hearts of not only Goans but others too. With her beautiful voice she has mesmerised everyone rendering the songs  like "BEBDO", "CALANGUTE","SORGA RAJEANT' etc.

MAIM tiatr in Mumbai

Minino de Bandar hit show  "MAIM" will be staged at different places in Mumbai. At present his hit show "SUCCORINA" is running houseful in Goa. There will be more shows of Succorina fron 15th onwards in Goa.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CIELDA PEREIRA

Cielda Pereira is celebrating her 21st Birthday today. From a very young age she started singing. In  the latest hit film ' Nachom-ia Kumpasar' she created a name for herself singing all the Lorna songs. Previously she was the winner of last years ' Goencho Avaz '. She recently sang for my Audio CD 'SILVER JUBILEE' two songs ' CHEDDVA'  and  ' NIZ MOG'. 

We wish her all the best. May God bless with fame and good health.
